Celebrating Wilnecote
It was a pleasure to welcome parents into school this week for our parent consultation meetings. We are incredibly proud of our wonderful house captains who supported the smooth running of the event by guiding families to the correct waiting rooms—thank you for your help!
We also extend our thanks to all parents who took the time to look through their child’s writing books and returned them promptly. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we hope that sharing the books provides a valuable opportunity for those who are unable to visit during the school day to see the progress their child is making throughout the year.
In school, we are continuing to shout out positivity! If there is any member of staff you or your child would like to give a special thank you shout-out to, please do complete one of our shout-out forms link below. We love sharing these moments and celebrating the wonderful people who make our school so special.

Wear it Red
Today, the children came to school dressed in red to take a stand against racism as part of our “Show Racism the Red Card” initiative. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and unity in promoting kindness, respect, and equality.
In lessons, the children have also been exploring British Values—democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs. These values are not just taught but lived every day in our school, and it’s been wonderful to see the children reflecting on how they contribute to a positive and inclusive community.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us nurture thoughtful, respectful, and proud learners.
Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal
After half term, we will be supporting the Poppy Appeal in preparation for Remembrance Day.
A selection of items will be available for children to purchase, with prices ranging from 50p to £1. These items will be on sale at break times only.
Your support helps raise funds for the Royal British Legion and honours those who have served and sacrificed.
Thank you for your generosity.

Message from Wilnecote Health Centre
Please be aware that, after some delays, the installation date for ANPR at Wilnecote Health Centre car park is planned for Monday 27th October and will be fully operational from Tuesday 28th, 24 hours a day. I would be grateful if you can update your parents to avoid them getting any unnecessary fines. Please note, staff working out of Wilnecote Health Centre have no control over any appeals relating to parking fines and anyone receiving a fine would need to access the information on the parking ticket.

Just a reminder that clubs start back the beginning 3rd November.
