Welcome Back!
Last week, we were delighted to welcome 63 children to Reception, 32 children to the Nursery (3-year-old room), and 8 children to the 2-year-old room. We also warmly welcomed several new members of staff to our school community:
- Mrs Jones, Rosen Class Teacher
- Mrs Guilder, Murphy Class Teacher
- Mrs Crowley, HLTA
Additionally, Miss Ricketts returned for the INSET days but has chosen to begin her maternity leave a week earlier than planned. We will keep you updated on the exciting news of her baby’s arrival!
I’m pleased to share that all children have settled well into their new classes and have begun forming positive relationships with their teachers. This week marks the start of formal phonics, reading, and PE lessons. By the end of the week, all children should be bringing home a book from our reading scheme, along with a Love to Read book.
Please remember to read with your child at least four times a week. Every child who reads four or more times will receive a raffle ticket as part of our reading incentive programme.
