It was absolutely wonderful to see so many of you in school for our recent storytime session with your children. Your presence brought such joy and created a lovely atmosphere that the children truly cherished.

Subject: Clarification on Maths Homework Marking Sheet
We understand that some of you may have concerns regarding the maths homework marking sheet that was sent home. We’d like to reassure you that the intention behind this is to support your child’s learning journey—not to shift responsibility for marking onto parents.
The marking sheet is designed to help you:
- Discuss the work with your child in a supportive way.
- Reassure them and build confidence in their understanding.
- Gain insight into the mathematical concepts they’ve been learning in school.
Please rest assured that teachers will review all completed homework when it is returned. This feedback will help us identify learning needs and inform future teaching.
We appreciate your continued support and involvement in your child’s education.
Ukulele lessons
We have introduced Ukulele lessons at Wilnecote Junior Academy, and we have 7 spaces available for children to start learning. If you are interested in your child learning Ukulele, please contact the office. Lessons cost £62 per term. Places are limited.
Please remember all communication will come through the newsletter unless it is personal to your child.
